Five Reasons to Fall for Triple Creek Ranch

September 12, 2017 Darby, Montana – Fall is the most dramatic season at Montana’s Triple Creek Ranch, with foliage filling the mountain valleys and the first snow dusting the peaks of the Bitterroot Mountains. It’s also one of the liveliest seasons, as this Relais & Châteaux mountain hideaway, once again ranked among the top 10 hotels in the world in the annual Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards 2017, has a menu of getaways aimed at riders, artists, fly fishers, birders and those who live to celebrate the holidays.

Klicks for Chicks: An annual all-women ride that benefits the non-profit Summit for Parkinson’s. Daily rides into the Montana wilderness followed by cocktails, gourmet food and nights at luxury cabins, with a fireside awards ceremony at the home of Triple Creek Ranch's owner, Barbara Barrett on the last evening. October 11-16.

Artist Workshop Weekend: Professional artists Greg Kelsey, Brent Cotton and Carol Hagan are in residence for this weekend of discovery, creativity and instruction in oils, watercolors, pastels and sculpture. October 19 – 23.

Autumn Birding Weekend: Since Montana is home to more than 400 bird species and the Bitterroot Valley is a designated “birding hotspot” by the Audubon Society, Triple Creek Ranch will host an “Autumn Birding in the Bitterroot with Greg Miller” weekend, a chance to learn from a famed birder profiled in the book, The Big Year. October 26 - 30.

Steelhead Fly Fishing Celebration: This is a rare opportunity to fly fish for the Northwest’s most prized game fish on the Idaho’s legendary Salmon River with Craig Barrett, Triple Creek Ranch owner and avid fly fisherman. Thanksgiving: Triple Creek Ranch welcomes Jennifer and Barry Waitte from Tamber Bey Vineyards to celebrate the 2017 Thanksgiving holiday.
